Cabin owners be extremely careful if burning cabin lot debris in the coming weeks. Lots should be cleaned up by June 30. Among other Cal Fire requirements:

  • Permitted only, check with Cal fire to assure it is a burn day. https://burnpermit.fire.ca.gov/
  • Maximum burn pile size is 4 foot in diameter.
  • Clear all flammable material and vegetation within 10-feet of the outer edge of pile and down to the bare earth.
  • Keep a water supply close to the burning site.
  • An adult should be in attendance with a shovel until the fire is out.
  • No burning shall be undertaken unless weather conditions (particularly wind) are such that burning can be considered safe.

Note:  Nominations for the two open positions on the MCSHA Board are still open. Nominations must be received at the offices of Business Connections by April 30. A nomination form with a stamped addressed envelop was sent to all cabin owners.  If you have misplaced this form, simply send the name of the nominee and their cabin number to our supervisor of elections, Business Connections at the following address:

Do not send nominations to me or other Board members.  Nominations must be handled by the independent supervisor of elections. Self-nominations are welcome. If nominating another cabin owner, be sure that person is willing to serve.

Here are downloadable .pdf version of our legal douments.  The Bylaws as well as the Covenants, Conditions and Restictions were passed at the Annual Meeting on July 1, 2017.  Our environment is also subject to the National Forest Service Handbook.

If you change your address, phone number or e-mail.  PLEASE LET US KNOW as soon as possible.  Occasionally there is important and timely information that needs to be distributed.  If you sell your cabin, also please let us know as the new owners might need the information as well.
